GAF Shooting Victim Breaks Silence One Month Later

Last month, in the early hours of 26th August 2024 a shooting incident occurred in The Gambia along the Bertil Harding Highway, near 2Ray’s Restaurant at a Vehicular Checkpoint mounted by soldiers of the State Guard Battalion.

Since the shooting incident by an unknown soldier left one Stanislas Gomez with a bullet lodged in his thigh, the Gambia Armed Forces have issued a statement and an interview via their Spokesperson Colonel Lamin Sanyang who made numerous allegations against the occupants of the vehicle.
