Founder and CEO of Take M Transformation, Tunde Muyi Ogundimu, expressed his deep appreciation for the support of parents, teachers, and students. He highlighted the importance of nurturing the talents of young people through educational activities. Tunde emphasized that initiatives like COMMOM and Take M’s pioneering Spelling Bee competition (which has been running since 2015) help expose students' potential in various academic fields.
In addition, Tunde spoke about the success of the African Nation program, a competition that brought together students from all 55 ECOWAS member states, promoting cultural and educational exchange through questions related to each country's affairs. The COMMOM competition, according to Tunde, offers a comprehensive approach to learning by diving deep into multiplication, understanding its concepts and applications, and fostering skills like logical reasoning, teamwork, and time management. Tunde also introduced the concept of "Word-land," where students not only memorize words and their spellings but also engage in understanding the meaning and development of words.
Take M Transformation's efforts in educational outreach have garnered significant support from various organizations, including Africell, the Central Bank of The Gambia (CBG), the Social Security & Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC), Yonna, and Unique Solutions. Tunde thanked these partners for their continuous contributions to the betterment of education in The Gambia.
